We are greatly honoured  and privileged to be Captains of Kilcock Golf Club for 2009 and will do our utmost to live up to the trust placed in us by the members.

This is a most important year for the Club in that during 2009 we will complete the development of the course by bringing into play the remaining newly refurbished nine holes. The new greens already in play have proved to be fantastic despite the appalling weather. As a result of our reduced entry fee (€4750 payable over two years) we have taken on a significant number of new members and we extend a very warm welcome to them.  We would love to welcome even more new members, of course so, visitors take note and, members tell your friends!

When the course development is complete we will have a course to stand comparison with any and, of course, we are a club owned and run by our own members. We have a club which is noted for its warm and friendly atmosphere and in addition we have catering facilities second to none provided by Bob Hay. We would again urge our members to support Bob in 2009.
We wish all our members and visitors the very best of golf for 2009. As Eamon Darcy famously said “all you have to do is to keep it straight and get a few putts”!
It is indeed an honour and privilege to be a Captain of Kilcock Golf Club. We both look forward to a great year of Golf and we hope to meet and play with as many members as possible during the year.

Best wishes, Jack and Geraldine
