Junior Events
Junior Fund-raiser Day
This year we are organising our first Junior fund-raiser day, This will take place on Sat. 28th May. It will be a 4 person team event at least one junior/juvenile to be in each team. The competition will be a 15 hole scramble.
The proceeds of the event will be going towards the Junior budget for the year, to cover coaching, prizes and interclub competitions.
Junior Fund-raiser Raffle
This year in conjunction with the fund-raising day we are holding a raffle. The prize will be a car parking space at the front of the club-house for a year. This space will be reserved for the winner and will have their name on it.
Tickets are on sale in the bar and the pro-shop at €5 for one strip or €10 for 3 strips. The draw will take place on the 28th May.
All proceeds will go to the junior/juvenile coaching program for the coming year.
Seniors/Juniors Competition
After the success of last years Seniors/Juniors competition we are going to hold it again on Wednesday 17th August. This will be a fourball scramble competition consisting of two seniors and two juniors/juveniles (depending on handicap) played over 15 holes.
This is a morning competition to begin approximately at 9.30am. Lunch will follow immediately afterwards and the day should finish at about 3.00 to 3.30pm.
The cost per person to include dinner will be advised before hand. This was an excellent event last year enjoyed by all who attended.
