In his report to the meeting Synergy Golf Director Garrett Donnery stated that a campaign to sell green fees will commence shortly. The campaign to date to increase society bookings for the club has been very successful.
The JMC welcomed news that work will start on the integration of the pro-shop into the main building on Monday 25th March and that the project is coming in under budget.
The club’s Grand Draw 2019 was launched at the meeting and profits from it will fund four major investments in the golf course this year. Each member of the club is invited to take three tickets and sell them outside of the club. Each ticket (€20) is a two ball green fee – great value.
The Honorary Treasurer reported that income from membership and golf rounds is up on last year and society bookings are also up on last year.
The JMC thanked Peter Hannan PGA for his contribution to the club over the past three years and wished him well in his new employment. Members with lessons pre-booked are asked to contact Peter to arrange suitable lesson times. The JMC welcomed Johnny in the pro-shop back to the club.
The club is participating in the Kilcock St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
