The Course

First established in 1984 by local landowner Gerry Canning, Kilcock started life as a 9-hole golf course. While initial members were mainly drawn from near neighbours, a warm and friendly atmosphere was quickly established and as a result, the membership began to grow. In 1990 land adjacent to the course was purchased and with the expertise of Eddie Hackett, one of the best-known course designers at the time a testing, but fair, 18-hole course was born.

In June 2007 the members unanimously approved a major course redevelopment plan, known as ‘Play 52’, which involved the installation of sand-based greens and tee boxes, major drainage and an automatic irrigation system. The remodelling of some of the key feature holes of the course resulted in an even greater playing challenge. The Club has come a long way in a relatively short period of time. We would welcome you to come and play the course and experience what we have to offer at first hand.
